Tennis Elbow Pain


Also called as lateral epicondylitis, condition which occur due to overuse of muscle and tendons in elbow.

It occurs due to repeated motion of wrist and forearm.

Most people who got this don’t play tennis it's misnomer.

Most common professions who face these problems are- Plumbers, Painters, Carpenters, butchers.

Pain occurs over lateral side of elbow to forearm / wrist.

Symptoms
– Pain / Weakness of forearm.
– Hard to shake hands.
- Hard to turn door knob.
– Hard to hold an object.

Causes
– Occur due to overuse of muscles.
– Repeated use of forearm muscles that are used to straighten and raise the hand / wrist triggers symptoms, this causes the breakdown of fibers in the tendon that attaches forearm muscle to bone bump outside of elbow .
